IXEAN Reconnects with Strategy Partners at the Third Balangay Forum

17 September 2026 – Continuing our September streak, IXEAN Solutions Inc. attended the 3rd Balangay Forum in Asia Pacific College, Makati City. 

The forum’s discussions mainly centered on the importance of the Philippines’ maritime domain to national security, economic development, food security, and environmental sustainability. The team appreciates the sincere keynote address of Department of National Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr., highlighting the Philippines’ urgent need to develop the capacity of the Armed Forces of the Philippines in a sustainable manner.

The IXEAN team also reconnected with friends and former colleagues at the Armed Forces of the Philippines, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, Philippine Army, Philippine Marine Corps, and Philippine Competition Commission during the forum.

The team is grateful to The Waypoints Project, in partnership with the Department of National Defense, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Philippines, and FACTS Asia, for organizing the forum as part of the celebrations for the Maritime Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANAMo).
