Bea is a Lecturer under the School of Diplomacy and Governance at De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde (Benilde). Prior to this, she was a Research Analyst for military intelligence in the Armed Forces of the Philippines and a Presidential Staff Officer at the Office of the President - Presidential Management Staff in Malacañang.

Bea has participated in several courses and conferences locally and internationally. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Consular and Diplomatic Affairs (Honors Scholar) from Benilde and a Master of Public Administration degree (University Scholar) from the University of the Philippines-Diliman.
